HABT FOUNDER´S LETTER

From an early age, I understood that health and beauty are inseparable. I was raised with the belief that true wellness is not just skin deep, it's the result of balance: a healthy body, a clear mind, and a nourished spirit. That philosophy stayed with me, even as life led me into some of the world's most intense and prestigious academic and professional environments.

My career path took me deep into science. During my PhD, working in supramolecular chemistry alongside a Nobel Laureate, an experience that shaped how I think about precision, systems, and design. That journey continued at MIT, where my postdoctoral research focused on the development of novel peptides as delivery vehicles for the treatment of genetic diseases. My work led to several peer-reviewed publications, including research on AI guided peptide design for targeted therapeutic delivery, and contributed to a patent in that field, part of a growing body of innovation at the intersection of chemistry and biotechnology. Later, I transitioned into management consulting, where long hours, constant travel, and nonstop pressure gradually eroded the time and energy I had once devoted to my own well-being.

Despite my professional success, I began to feel the cost of neglecting myself. My nutrition, my fitness, my energy, and yes, my skin and hair, all began to show signs of burnout. It was a wake-up call. I realized that wellness isn't just a weekend luxury or a spa indulgence, it's a daily commitment. And more importantly, it needs to be accessible, functional, and real for people with busy, high-performing lives.

As I searched for solutions, I saw a major gap in the beauty industry: products that promised quick fixes and surface-level results but lacked the depth of scientific efficacy. Beauty routines were filled with trendy ingredients and empty marketing, not real innovation. I knew I could do better, not just for myself, but for anyone who felt that self-care had become another exhausting task.

That's what inspired me tocreate HABT - Health And Beauty Tech, a science-led wellness and beauty brand where science meets self care, combining the rigor of scientific research with the power of nature to support true, holistic wellness.

Our formulations are science-led and purpose-driven.
